The Library will participate in the XXIII Day of Belarusian Writing in Rogachev on September 3–4.


The first three-volume children encyclopedia Francysk Skaryna, result of the work of the deputy director of the National Library Aleksandr Susha and the publishing house Belarusian encyclopedia n.a. P. Brovka, will be presented on the Book festival on September 4. Three volumes of the Belarusian children encyclopedia on the basis of modern scientific research and rich illustrations will introduce Skaryna’s life and heritage.

The director of the National Library Roman Motulski will present the Rogachev Central Regional Library the facsimile edition “Book heritage of Francysk Skaryna” this day during the festive opening.

The National Library will introduce the exposition “500 years of Belarusian book printing” with unique examples of Belarusian book printing of the XVII–XX centuries. The exhibition works from 12.00 till 19.00 in the Rogachev Central Regional Library.

The National Library will present guests and citizens an entertaining program “Positive from Skaryna”, which will explain children in a simple way about the key figure of Belarusian book printing, on the playground of the festival. Participants will enjoy creative tasks and funny games.
