On June 10, the National Library of Belarus was visited by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Latvia Dace Melbarde.
During the official visit The Programme of Cooperation between the Ministry of Culture of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia for 2016–2018 was signed. The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Boris Svetlov.
The Director of the National Library of Belarus Roman Motulsky held a tour of the library, during which the guest of honor Dace Melbarde became acquainted with the main directions of the library’s work, its information resources, technical equipment and socio-cultural activities. At the end of the meeting the parties exchanged gifts.
