A conference of the primary trade union organization of the National Library of Belarus was held on September 27. A new chairperson was elected through voting.
Ms Iryna Hejdarava, Leading Librarian of the Interlibrary Loan and Electronic Document Delivery Section, took the position.
The event summed up the results of the organization's work over the past few years. The meeting was attended by the staff of the library, the elected presidium, members of the revision commission, and Tatsiana Filimonava, chairperson of the Belarusian Trade Union of Culture, Information, Sport and Tourism Workers.
The staff of the National Library of Belarus wishes the newly elected leader inexhaustible energy, creative strength and inspiration in future endeavors!
