The presentation of the scientific and methodological magazine Artifact and the book Нарысы тэорыі беларускага тэатра (Essays of the Belarusian theatre theory) by V. Saleeǔ will take place on December 3.
The author and chief editor of Artifact V. Saleeǔ is the doctor of philosophy, professor, honored worker of culture of the Republic of Belarus, cultural specialist, art critic, author of 6 monographs and over 300 scientific publications on Slavic and Belarusian culture, aesthetics, philosophic education, art theory, art criticism, aesthetic and artistic education.
The scientific and methodological magazine Artifact, the first issue of which appeared in print in 2014, contains not only scientific articles. The place of honor in the publication takes art criticism in its various manifestations – from journalism and essays to thorough reviews of significant events of the domestic and foreign art culture.
The author analyzes the theoretical aspects of the existence of theatrical art in the historic area of the Belarusian national culture and examines the problems of theatrical traditions, development of acting thought, peculiarities of the Belarusian school of acting, other aspects of modern theatrical process in the book Нарысы тэорыі беларускага тэатра (Essays of the Belarusian theatre theory) thoroughly and systematically.
The monograph and the magazine are aimed at scientists, postgraduate students, members of the artistic community and all those interested in the problems and issues of both domestic and foreign culture.
