On June 2, 2009 in National Library of Belarus was held a republican seminar on trade marks




Representatives of National Center of Intellectual Property, State council for Science and Technologies, intellectual property cases panel of judges of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus, World Intellectual Property Organization, and Federal Institute of Industrial Property of Rospatent (the Russian Federation) participated in the seminar.

The following issues were examined at the seminar: use of trade marks for market control and raising completive capacity of goods in foreign markets, unfair competition prevention etc.

The quest tour "The road of the Great Victory"

On May 15, on the International Family Day, the National Library of Belarus was visited by members of the Belarusian Association of parents with many children in the Pervomaisky district of Minsk. They took part in the quest tour "The road of the Great Victory", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
