The "Diamond of Knowledge" is the iconic object of Belarus and celebrates the day of its opening. The National Library of Belarus opened its doors for readers 14 years ago.
A deep content lies behind the original form: the multidisciplinary complex provides a wide range of services, and the information store is connected with databases around the world. Not only Belarusians but also foreign citizens are the users of the library, the Electronic Delivery of Documents is in demand in more than 100 countries.
Mr Roman Motulsky, Director General of the National Library of Belarus, Mr Alexander Susha, Deputy Director General, Mr Viktor Pshybytko, Head of the Center for Digitization and Preservation of Library Collections and Ms Maria Alexandrova, Head of the Publishing Department spoke about the activities of the national treasury of knowledge on the air of the "Belarus 1" TV channel.
