On April, 24 more than 70 representatives of the culture, science and education fields gathered at the seminar "Copyright: Legislative Norms and Practical Application in the Republic of Belarus" to discuss the problems of intellectual property protection.
The participants were greeted by Tatyana Kuzminich, Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus for information resources and Sergey Botyan, main specialist of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus.
Sergey Losev, head of the research department in the social sphere of the National Center for Legislation and Legal Studies of the Republic of Belarus, spoke about the changes planned in the new version of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Copyright and Related Rights".
Alexey Bichurin, Head of the Center for Collective Management of Property Rights of the National Center for Intellectual Property, presented the special aspects of collective management of copyright and related rights in the Republic of Belarus.
Aidar Galiev, leading manager for work with key clients of the "Antiplagiat" company, presented Russian experience of statutory regulation of misjoinder in scientific works.
The participants of the seminar had a unique opportunity to ask any questions to the leading experts of the Republic of Belarus in the field of copyright.
