On 22 May, at 4 p.m., a grand opening of an exhibition "The world through the eyes of children" dedicated to the International Children's Day will be held in the mobile gallery (3rd floor).


The exhibition includes about 25 works made by pupils of the art studio Vasilyok which has been working in the Minsk Regional State Special Secondary Boarding School for Hearing-Impaired Children for over 18 years. Young artists of the studio participated in international exhibitions in Japan, Germany, France, Russia, and their works were exhibited in many galleries and museums in the Belarusian capital.

The project is organized by the Minsk Regional State Special Secondary Boarding School for Hearing-Impaired Children and the National Library of Belarus with the support of the Education Department of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee. The main idea of the exhibition is to remind adults that children are in need of support and care.

The exhibition will run until 20 August.
