On February 25, 2019, the National Library of Belarus held the workshop "The electronic platform of Web of Science as a tool of the effectiveness of research and educational activities improvement".
The workshop was opened by Ms Alla Sheremeteva, Head of the Information Center. Ms Irina Tikhonkova, the representative of Clarivate Analytics, told the participants about the approaches of collections and indexes creating on the Web of Science platform. Ms Tikhonkova showed new and improved features: the plug-in for searching of the Kopernio full texts, EndNote reference manager, analytics of publications in Journal Citation Reports, the new features of Publons' copyright profile.
Authors of scientific publications were trained to select rating international journals for publishing the results of their research.
The seminar was attended by over 100 participants: representatives of republican scientific libraries, higher education institutions, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, research institutes and publishing houses.
