On September 26, the library hosted a seminar on "The possibilities of using electronic information resources in inclusive education".

The project "Glagolitsa" was presented – a complex of electronic resources of the company "Direct-Media", aimed at facilitating the learning process of persons with special needs and disabilities (SND).

The seminar participants discussed the range of possibilities of using an electronic resource for people with disabilities, as well as for teachers and librarians working with them. During the event, the resources for inclusive education included in the electronic library system "University Library Online" were considered. The speakers of the seminar were Tatiana Telegina, assistant to the head of the educational and methodological centre "EBS University Library Online" of the educational portal "Direct Academy", and Mikhail Pozhidaev, the author of the technology of voicing texts LUWRAIN.

The meeting was held in a mixed format: library specialists and invited guests were able to join both online and in person.

The virtual reading room invites all interested organizations of our country to cooperate on subscription to licensed databases and training to work with them.

The quest tour "The road of the Great Victory"

On May 15, on the International Family Day, the National Library of Belarus was visited by members of the Belarusian Association of parents with many children in the Pervomaisky district of Minsk. They took part in the quest tour "The road of the Great Victory", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
