On January, 15th, the National Library hosted the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Tadevush RE:turn” timed to the 275th birth anniversary of Tadeush Reyton.

The project “Tadevush RE:turn” is designed to remind and promote the forgotten name of the great son of Belarus. The art-community named after Tadeush Reyton have been created for this purpose.

The offered exhibition presents works of modern Belarusian artists (the graphic lines of А. Rodin, D. Yourkevich, G. Sitnitsa, N. Shapovalova etc), and also reproductions of Tadeush Reyton’s canvases created by predecessor artists of the XVIII–XX centuries (F. Smuglevich, L. Gorvart and others).

Besides, a number of literary works devoted to Reyton from private collections and the stocks of the National Library are on display.

We invite you to visit the exhibition “Tadevush RE:turn” located in the galleries “Labyrinth” and “Atrium” (on the 3rd floor).
