We invite you to visit the traveling exhibition “American Literature in the 21st Century”, which runs from 11 April to 8 May. Exhibit materials are presented by the US Embassy to the Republic of Belarus.
The centerpiece of the exhibition is a collection of books which are the Nobel Prize laureates and winners of national literary awards and US awards, and also books for children and adults published in 2015–2016, which were recognized as the best by the American Library Association. Additionally, posters with portraits of Nobel Laureates in the field of literature, as well as educational board games for children and adults based on American literature are presented.
Within the exposition, visitors will be able to watch screen versions of American literary classics in English and with English subtitles from the collection of the Embassy and the National Library of Belarus.
The exhibition will be of interest to everyone who enjoys American literature and culture, and also learns English.
The exposition is located in the music and audiovisual documents reading room (305). You need a library card or one-visit pass to enter. The exhibition is open from 10.00 to 21.00.
