Lilia Ananich, First Deputy Minister of Information of Belarus: in 2013, the town of Bykhov (Mogilev Region) will host the celebration of the Belarusian Written Language Day.
From year to year the Belarusian Written Language Day is celebrated in historical and cultural centers with which lives of famous people of Belarus are indissolubly connected. In previous years this holiday was celebrated in Polotsk, Turov, Novogrudik, Nesvizh, Orsha, Pinsk, Zaslavl, Mstislavl, Mir, Kamenets, Postavy, Shklov, Borisov, Smorgon, Hojniki and Gantsevichi.
This year the holiday takes place on 1–2 September in Glubokoye (Vitebsk Region). After the celebrations Glubokoye will pass the baton to Bykhov.
