On May, 19th the known bibliologist, artist, art critic and teacher Svetlana Prudovskaya (Moscow) visited the National Library of Belarus.
Svetlana Prudovskaya is known in the literary community as an author of the book series DIY Book : The History of DIY Book (2015), The History of DIY Book. A sequel (2015), The History of DIY Letters (2015), The Quest of Magical Books (2016). She is also a developer of an experimental fine arts programme in Russia, member of the Association of Art Critics and the creative community “The author’s handwritten book”, and participants of international exhibitions.
At the festival “The city and books” Svetlana held with great success two workshops on the art of books: "Where do the beautiful letters come from?" and "The book of transformations with your own hands."
During her staying in Minsk the guest visited the National Library of Belarus and expressed admiration for its efforts in promoting the Belarusian book heritage.
