The presentation of the book by Natalia Golubeva "Kirill Mazurov. What the time was silent about ... " was held on April 11 in the Library.
The organizers of the event were the National Library of Belarus and the publishing house Belorusskaya encyklopedia imeni Petrusya Brovki.
Natalia Golubeva, candidate of historical sciences, presented a new look at the events of the 20th century, contradictory and ambiguous, which the eyewitness and direct participant was Kirill Mazurov, politician, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPB, First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR.
Due to the execution of the large research, declassification of archival documents and Kirill Mazurov’s personal diaries, this publication attempts to rethink the time and events of the era around which discussions continue today.
Vladimir Andriyevich, Director of the publishing house Belorusskaya encyklopedia imeni Petrusya Brovki, Elena Pavlova, Head of the Publishing and Printing Department of the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus, Lidiya Ermoshina, Chairman of the Central Election Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Victor Kurash, Director of the Department of Archives and Recordkeeping of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, Natalia Golubeva, author of the book professor of MGIMO, Natalia Kapitonova, daughter of Kirill Mazurov, and Roman Motulsky, Director of the National Library of Belarus has participated at the event.
At the end of the event Vladimir Andriyevich, director of the publishing house Belorusskaya encyklopedia imeni Petrusya Brovki, awarded a copy of the publication to the National Library of Belarus.
