On February 26, The Publication Strategy of a Scientist workshop was held at the Belarusian State University. The event was organized by the BSU together with the National Library of Belarus and Clarivate Analytics.
Mr Vladimir Kulazhenko, Director of the BSU Fundamental Library and Ms Marina Rudakovskaya, Head of the Corporate Interaction Department of the National Library of Belarus opened the workshop.
Ms Irina Tikhonkova, Clarivate Analytics User Training Specialist told the participants of the workshop about the approaches to building research strategies for researchers: international requirements for writing articles, basics of academic writing, choosing journals for research results publication, a traditional publishing model and an open access model. The details of the Web of Science platform functionality presented to researchers were discussed, including EndNote reference manager, enabling to prepare papers according to the format of the selected publication, Journal Citation Reports publications analytics, Publons author profile.
The teaching staff, students, graduates, undergraduates and the employees of the BSU Fundamental Library attended the workshop.
