Contest results were summarized in the National Library of Belarus.
The jury were bishop from Borisov and Marjina Gorka Benjamen (chairman of jury), director of the National Library of Belarus R.S. Motulski (vice-chairman of jury), chief librarian of the library science department O.A. Rynkevich (secretary of the jury), head of the religion department of the religion and nationalities commissioner A.V. Aryaev, chief specialist of the department of secondary and general education of the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Belarus I.V. Bulavkina, chief specialist of institutions of culture and folk art of the Ministry of Culture in the Republic of Belarus S.V. Botyan, secretary of the Publishing council of the Belarusian Orthodox Church T.A. Samoiliuk, head of the Central library of the Belarusian exarchate S.F. Vinogradova and member of the Librarianship Council of the Synodal department for religious education and catechesis of the Belarusian exarchate T.A. Kvasova.
This year, the selection of works was carried out in several stages, according to the new edition of the Instruction on the procedure of the contest process. Best works from all Belarusian regions after the preliminary selection on the regional stage participated in interim contest stages in the National Library and the Scientific and pedagogical Library of the Chief information analysis centre of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. The first and second places were presented to the competent jury of the Republican contest stage.
As a result of hard work, the jury selected winners in the following categories:
- "Spiritual and moral education of children and youth";
- "The history of the Orthodoxy of the native land";
- "Family – the successor of moral and spiritual values";
- "Patriotic education in the Orthodox traditions".
After the approval of the Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Pavel, Patriarchal Exarch of all Belarus of the record of the jury, the information about the winners will be showed on the official website of the Belarusian Exarchate of the Moscow Patriarchate, the National Library of Belarus, the Synodal department for religious education and catechesis and the website "Orthodox libraries of Belarus".
Traditionally the awarding ceremony of the 2nd Republican contest "Library – the centre of spiritual enlightenment and education" will be held in the National Library during the 4th International Congress "The library as a cultural phenomenon", which will take place on 4–6 October, 2016.
