A presentation of a book of collected children’s stories and poems "From Lullabies to Jingles" is to be held at the National Library, on June 27.
If you've become an adult long ago but haven’t heard about the adventures of Sunbeam and Gavrusha the Cat, if you don’t know when the Sun laughs and how kind Snow Queen can be, this book will tell you about all this.
The collection, published by Minsk regional branch of the Union of Writers of Belarus, includes the works of 25 authors: lullabies, fairytales, riddles, verses and short stories.
The publication is designed for children who will mature with their heroes; it will also be a good teaching aid to kindergarten and elementary school teachers and event organizers at different childcare institutions. The book will be useful for parents as well.
During the event, Svetlana Bykova, Irina Kornoukhova, Victor Kazhura, Sergey Klimkovich, Valentina Giruts-Rusakevich, Tatiana Mushinskaya and other participants will read out stories and verses from the collection.
The event starts at 16.00, in the gallery “Labyrinth” (3rd floor).
