The abuse of power for personal gain has accompanied humanity since ancient times. There are many examples of fighting this evil in history, but it has not been eliminated to this day. In the 21st century, corruption remains among the urgent problems inherent in all countries without exception. According to experts, it cannot be eliminated, but risks can be minimized.

At the present stage, civil society is actively involved in the processes of public administration and decision-making in the fight against corruption. Articles from the journals "Legality", "Journal of BSU. Law "," Criminal Law "and others reflect the similar experience of Belarus, Russia and foreign countries.

On the pages of the magazines "Labor and Social Law", "New Economy", "Russian Justice" they address the topic of responsibility for corruption violations.

Crimes against the interests of the service, bribery, personal interest, the use of official position - these and other problems of a corruption nature were reflected in the publications "Chief Economist", "Justice of Belarus", "Problems of Management", "Minsk Courier" and others.
