The exhibition "Nikolai Gusovsky. Ballad of the Bison", honouring the 500th anniversary of the poem's first publication, opened on April 13 at the Atrium gallery (3rd floor).
A representative of new–Latin poetry, one of the founders of the lyrico-epic poem genre in the literature of Eastern Europe, Nikolai Gusovsky became the author of the poem "Carmen de statura feritate ac venatione Bisontis" ("Song about the sight, rage of the bison and the hunt for it"). Thanks to Gusovsky's talent and rich life experience, the poem turned into a song of his heart, a hymn to the motherland.
