On October 17, the National library hosted the grand opening of the thematic photo exhibition "Women of Heroes of the Bryansk region" as part of the patriotic project "Hero's Wife".
This project is a photo portraits and messages of wives and mothers of men who have devoted their lives to serving the Motherland and protecting the Fatherland. These are stories about how, together with the jacket of a loved one, a woman "puts on" herself and shares with this person not only fate, but also the duties of service, although not explicitly. The uniform carries a sacred meaning: it is a burden and responsibility that falls on women's shoulders, and at the same time the uniform – large and heavy – warms and gives protection.
The event is organized by the socio-cultural public association "Young Russia" together with the Committee of Families of Soldiers of the Fatherland of Bryansk with the support of the National Library of Belarus.
The exhibition will be presented until October 23, 2023 in the Mobile Gallery (3rd floor).
The completion date of its work can be changed.
Amission is by the library card or by the social and cultural centre ticket.
The working hours of the exhibition correspond to the working hours of the library.
