On April 23 at the National Library of Belarus there will be events dedicated to the World Book and Copyright Day, as well as the International Intellectual Property Day.
An educational seminar "Copyright in the context of digital transformation" will be held at 10.00. (registration)
The educational seminar will be attended by heads and specialists of the National Intellectual Property Center, the Belarusian State University, employees of libraries and other information institutions of the country.
At 16.00 in the Labyrinth gallery (3rd floor), a cultural and educational event "Masters of Belarusian culture. Vladimir Savchik", dedicated to the work of a talented composer. During the event, the rights to use digital copies of the author's music manuscripts and book editions in the information resources of the National Library of Belarus will be transferred.
As part of the cultural and educational campaign, performances by members of the composer's family, representatives of the Belarusian State Philharmonic, the Belarusian Union of Composers, the Belteleradiocompany, the Minsk city branch of the Union of Writers of Belarus are planned.
The event will feature a presentation of the electronic resource "Masters of Belarusian Culture. Vladimir Savchik", where electronic copies of handwritten notes and book editions are collected.
A viewing exhibition will be organized for visitors, which will allow them to get to know the life and work of the famous Belarusian talented composer Vladimir Savchik.
