There may be a bomb in a bag

If you have found a forgotten or ownerless bag in public transport, interrogate the people next to you. Try to clarify whose it is and who could leave it here. If the owner is not revealed, immediately inform the driver on your find.

If you have found a suspicious subject at the entrance of your house, interrogate neighbors, probably, it belongs to them. If the owner is not revealed, immediately inform the police on your find.

If you have found a suspicious subject in an establishment, immediately inform the administration on your find.

In all cases listed above:

  • do not touch, do not open and do not move the find;
  • fix the time of detection;
  • try to make people move away from the dangerous find;
  • wait till the operative-investigatory group arrives;
  • do not forget, that you are the most important witness.

Remember: the appearance of a subject can conceal its true destination. Usual household things such as bags, packages, convolutions, boxes, toys, etc. are often used as a camouflage for explosives.

Parents! You are responsible for life and health of your children. Explain to children that any subject found in the street or in the doorway can be dangerous.

Once again we remind:

If you have found a suspicious subject which can be an explosive, do not undertake independently any actions as it can lead to explosion, numerous victims and destructions!

If you have noticed a thing without the owner, it is necessary to address to a policeman or other official. Do not touch the find. Unfortunately, in some cases (for example, in a train crowded by summer residents, mushroom pickers) the situation can be almost desperate.  If there is an explosion, the following danger is fire and panic.
