A presentation of Vladislav Tsydzik’s book I'm Seeing Belarus like That and a photo exhibition, timed to the Year of the Native Land in Belarus, will take place in the library, on October 16th.
A concerned photographer saw the country like that – majestic and grand, ancient and young, green and blue. The book I Saw Belarus like That includes Vladislav Tsydzik’s photos and verses by 65 Belarusian poets, who express their sincere feelings for their native land.
The book in three languages, Belarusian, English and Russian, was published this year by the publishing house "Zvyazda". The publication reflects the diverse corners of our country. I'm Seeing Belarus like That continues the theme started two years ago with the photo album Enchanting Belarus. Verses by talented contemporaries are a feature of the new edition.
The compiler of both publications is Elena Stelmakh, a writer and the first deputy chairman of the Union of Writers of Belarus.
The skilled photographer not simply contemplates figures and faces. Vladislav Tsydzik sees the essential in nature, people and a variety of objects, which helps him to represent our country in all colors and paints.
The Union of Writers of Belarus presents I'm Seeing Belarus like That on the occasion of the Year of the Native Land in Belarus. The project is supported by the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus.
The event starts at 16.00, the gallery “Rakurs” (2nd floor).
All photos will be presented at the exhibition, which will open during the presentation and run until November 25, 2018.
The closing date may be changed.
