The subject of the Great Patriotic War responds with pain in soul of each citizen in Belarus. Our country was the first to attack by the enemy and became an arena for large combat activities. A victory over the enemy was achieved by the value of a large number of victims. Cruelty and mass scale of the occupants’ crimes had no example in the history of new Belarus. The invaders burnt, destroyed and plundered 209 out of 270 towns and district centers, 9,200 villages. Around three million people died.
