Intrarepublican exchange and redistribution of documents

The fund of intrarepublican exchange and redistribution of documents is part of the library stocks of the National Library of Belarus. It includes more than 180,000 copies of printed documents in Belarusian, Russian and foreign languages.

Chronological comprehension of documents: from the 19th century to present day.

These editions, excessively doublet and not profile in relation to the main stocks of the Library, are intended for redistribution and exchange in the system of libraries of the Republic of Belarus. Documents published in last years make 70 % of the stock. Books on socially-humanitarian and natural sciences and fiction are widely presented. Collections of books and magazines published before the World War II are especially interesting.

About 100libraries of the country are permanent users of the fund of intrarepublican exchange and redistribution of documents of the acquisition division of the National Library of Belarus. Roughly 50,000 documents were transmitted to Belarusian libraries in 2022.

The indexes of documents, thematic lists of publications offered for redistribution, and also lists of required publications are regularly published on the portal of the National Library of Belarus.
