The thematic book exhibition "The vogue of healthy lifestyle” runs in the circular corridor on the 2nd floor, on November 1–22.


In the modern world, the preservation of people's health, especially the younger generation’s health, is a decisive factor in the economic, political and social development.

The Republic of Belarus is a socially-oriented state and implements policies to promote health for a healthy nation. Public health is one of the main conditions for successful implementation of the strategy for socio-economic development of Belarus.

The book exhibition "The vogue of healthy lifestyle” presents about 200 documents: reference books, encyclopedias, tutorials, scientific and popular literature.

The section "Modern sports", in addition to the literature on such popular in our country sports like hockey, football, tennis, gymnastics, athletics, presents the literature about the athletes who have achieved great heights in these sports.

The section "Improving practices" includes the literature on medical gymnastics, running, Nordic walking, and various types of massage.

The exhibition section "Instead of drugs" introduces the reader to the literature of eastern health practices, Colorpuncture, dolphin and other non-traditional forms of medicine.

The exposition is addressed to a wide range of readers and visitors to the library.
