From 1 March to 31 March, an exhibition "Great. Famous. Wonderful. Women in history", dedicated to Women's Day, runs at the National Library of Belarus (2nd floor, circular hall).

Women can be characterized as unique, inexplicable, fascinating, and mysterious, and a number of these epithets are endless. Woman is the only one creation in the world that can be so different.

At all times women know how admire both by their beauty and their intelligence, courage and nobility.

From ancient times the wheel of history was revolved by men. And can it be done by women? If we carefully look through the past, the answer will be "no". Women were not interior to men in anything. The representatives of the fair sex were warriors, statesmen and workers of science, culture and art.

The exhibition demonstrates more than 150 books, from which a reader can know about outstanding figures of this time, their lives and secrets, ups and downs, love and betrayals, happiness and tears.

The exposition has separate sections in which visitors can see books, published in the series "Woman-myth," "Life of remarkable people", "Chosen by fate", "The world of women", etc.
