The visit was held within the framework of the Days of Culture of the Rostov region in the Republic of Belarus.
The meeting was attended by Director of the Don State Public Library Evgenia Kolesnikova, Deputy Director for Development Anna Zhelyabovskaya and Director General of the National Library of Belarus Vadzim Hihin.
The parties agreed to sign a cooperation agreement between the National Library of Belarus and the Don State Public Library and discussed the implementation of joint projects and initiatives under this agreement.
A sightseeing tour of the library building was held for the honored guests, where they got acquainted with the history, architecture, resources and potential of the largest information and socio-cultural centre of Belarus.
