On May 8, 2009, in a park near National Library of Belarus took place the All-Belarusian race dedicated to the Victory Day.
Annual All-Belarusian race has become a national project promoting healthy life style. In 2009 the spring sport holiday is 10 years.
The event was held by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Minsk City Executive Committee, National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the editors of the newspaper “Soviet Belarus” and a civil society organization “Belarusian federation of athletics”.
The distance of the race was 1 thousand meters. At the end of the event winners got prizes.
