On 21 May, at 16.00, the gallery "Panorama" will host the exhibition of artist Anatoly Pavlyga.


Anatoly Pavlyga was born on 25 July, 1934 in the village of Khotkovo in Rosson District, Vitebsk Region.

In 1965, he graduated from the Graphic Arts Department of the Vitebsk State Pedagogical Institute. His teachers were well-known Belarusian artists Valentin Dezhits, Vasily Goncharov, Gregory Klikushin. In his life A. Pavlyga worked as a teacher of painting and drawing at Rosson district schools and as an inspector of education. In 1994, he retired and devoted himself to creativity. He lived in Bulavki, a village in Polotsk District, Vitebsk Region.

The artist’s main theme is landscapes of his native land. He sought to display changeable moods of nature and show his own perception of his country’s beauty.

Anatoly Pavlyga passed away on 18 October, 2012. However, he continues to live in his works.

All the visitors of the exhibition will see 36 landscapes.

"On the paths of bright spring" by Pavlyuk Trus

On May 16, participants of the National Library of Belarus project "On the wave of time throughout life" visited the Uzden Central District Library named after Pavlyuk Trus, where they took part in the literary and musical festival "On the paths of bright spring.." dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the poet, member of the association "Maladnyak", native of Uzden region Pavlyuk Trus (1904-1929).
