The non-profit partnership “Library Assembly of Eurasia” (BAE) announces a contest for the best library project “Development of intercultural and professional relations between the CIS libraries”.
The contest purpose is to reveal experience, ideas and creative initiatives in the sphere of intercultural and professional dialogue between the CIS libraries; to develop professional and cultural communications between libraries; to reveal young leaders among the CIS librarians.
As a member of the non-profit partnership “Library Assembly of Eurasia” (BAE) the National Library of Belarus carries out preparation and holding of the contest in the Republic of Belarus.
The best project will be sent to BAE board of directors for participation in the contest finale. Winners will be announced in March 2011. The contest’s results will be published on BAE website.
Send two photocopies of your document to the address: Nezavisimosti Ave., 116, Minsk, 220114 and one electronic copy by email: bibved@nlb.by. Accepted language: Russian. Documents should be submitted up to February 28, 2011.
