On October 1-3, 2008, in National Library of Belarus took place the second International conference “The modern informational and tele-medicine technologies for public health” AITTH - 2008
The Conference was organized by National Academy of Sciences of Belarus United Institute for the Issues of Informatics.
The aim of the conference – discussion on fundamental issues of computerization of medicine and biology on the basis of the modern informational technologies, development of intellectual systems of diagnosing for public health institutions, and ways and prospects of their further development.
During the conference were discussed the urgent issues of analysis of digital biomedicine images, tele-medicine, computerized diagnosing and treatment, information technologies for public health, computerizing of cardiology, modeling of biomedicine processes, expert systems in medicine, as well as bioinformatics, structural biology and comparative geonemy.
The International program committee had selected 85 papers from 19 countries: member states of the CIS, Eastern and Western Europe, the USA, the Middle East, and Africa which were read during the Conference.
