The “Iyldyz” hotel, related to the President’s Office of Turkmenistan, opened a banner exhibition “A Forest Song” on June 30, within the framework of the grand reception, arranged by the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Turkmenistan on the Independence Day of our country.

Joint information-illustrative project of the National Library of Belarus and the National Archive of the Republic of Belarus introduced the guests of the event to the history of the Belarussian guerrilla movement.

The representatives of Turkmenistan’s state-owned agencies, business and public societies, heads of diplomatic missions and offices of international organizations, accredited in Turkmenistan visited the event.

For the last two years, the project was presented in the cultural agencies of Moldova, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan successfully.

From May 6 to July 5, the Reference and Information Service reading room (room 257) hosts the book exhibition "Belarus Unconquered", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
