The Minister of Culture of the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation Svetlana Uchaikina visited the Library on February 28.
There was organized an excursion around the Library for the guest, where she got acquainted with a ten-year-old history of the “diamond of knowledge”, its architectural peculiarities and art decoration.
Most of all Svetlana Uchaikina was impressed by book treasures of the National Library shown in the Book Museum. A visit to the Round hall, galleries and the observation platform allowed the guest to realize the potential of the library as the largest sociocultural centre of the country.
