A Unified Security Day was held at the National Library of Belarus on September 25.
Training events were conducted for library staff to evacuate from the building and the use of primary fire extinguishing means were worked out in practice.
The rescuers of the Minsk City Administration held a thematic conversation with the library employees, recalled the causes of the fire, the numbers of rescue services and told how to cope with an emergency situations independently in everyday life.
The participants of the event watched several educational films aimed at developing a culture of safe living, mastering the rules of behaviour in conditions of fire, accidents, as well as first aiding providing.
The Unified Security Day has been held in the Republic of Belarus since 2018 on the initiative of the State Secretariat of the Security Council. The main task of the republican action is to prevent emergencies, offenses and crimes, to teach behavior during fires and other emergencу situations, as well as to provide first aid.
