On March 16, 2009, in the framework of an official visit to Belarus, a Vietnamese parliamentary delegation headed by Chairman of Committee on budget and finances of National Assembly of Vietnam Kwok Fung Yuen visited National Library of Belarus.
Lyudmila Kiryukhina, the NLB Deputy Director for development of information resources welcomed the guests. Members of the delegation made a Library and were acquainted with its activity, user service, information resources, equipment, as well as the history, architecture and interior design of the Library.
In the Museum of a Book the guests saw the collection of rarities from the Library’s collections.
The delegation visited as well the Library’s Observation platform where they enjoyed a bird's eye view of the city.
