On 19 July, within the framework of the official visit to the Republic of Belarus the delegation from Amur Oblast of the Russian Federation headed by governor Oleg Kozhemyako had a visit to the National Library of Belarus.
Elena Dolgopolova, First Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus for User Service and Ideology welcomed the guests in the National Library of Belarus.
There was an excursion to the Library for the members of the delegation. The visitors learned about its activities, information resources, equipment, reading rooms, architectural features and interior design. The excursion continued at the Library’s Observation Platform where the guests admired a marvelous view of the capital and its outskirts.
Rarities from the collection of the National Library of Belarus were brought to the guests’ attention in the Book Museum.
