On 9th July, the delegation of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh headed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited the National Library of Belarus.
Within the framework of the visit a business forum “Belarus – Bangladesh” was held. During the forum there took place a meeting between Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich and Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina.
The delegation of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh had a panoramic excursion to the Library. First Deputy Director of the National Library of Belarus Elena Dolgopolova acquainted the guests with the Library’s activities, its architectural features and interior design.
In the Book Museum the guests viewed the collection of rare editions. Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina wrote a memorable entry to the Guest of Honor Book.
