Ishibashi Foundation Grant Programs (Japan)
The Ishibashi Foundation offers support to non-profit artistic, cultural, and educational initiatives, including foreign projects dedicated to the culture and art of Japan. The grants are awarded for art exhibitions, publication of scientific journals, organization of commemorative events and symposia, as well as initiatives committed to raising the standards of educational system and expanding educational facilities. The grant program may support a project in entirety or for several years (medium term) of its duration.
Application deadline: twice a year, the end of January and July.
National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic
The government scholarship of the Slovak Republic is designed to support mobility of foreign students and university professors, graduate students, researchers and professionals in the arts and provided for the passage of training, teaching, research or artistic training in universities and research organizations in Slovakia.

Nokia Visiting Professor grants
Grants for Nokia Visiting Professors are given to distinguished foreign professors to work in Finland. Visitors coming to Finland must typically participate in research work and teaching. The minimum period for the visit is 2 months. Nokia Foundation Board will make grant decisions twice a year.
