8 thousand manuscripts of PhD and doctoral theses on all branches of knowledge, defended in the Republic of Belarus, are collected in the reading room.
You can book theses from the main repository using the e-catalog. You have to provide a letter of request to be licensed to work with Belarusian manuscript-based theses.
The Electronic library of theses and abstracts of the National Library of Belarus is available to all readers. You can also use the Digital Thesis of the Russian State Library, ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global and other databases of leading world information companies. To find additional information, feel free to use full text dissertations of different countries, which are in the public domain, and free Internet.
On a paid basis, you can check plagiarism in a scientific paper with the help of the information systems "Antiplagiat" and "Plagiat Control."
If you want to use your own electronic media on the library public computers, you have to rent a carrel at low cost. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, ABBYY Fine Reader are available. You can also print out fragments of theses, copy or print files at reasonable prices.
The opening hours of the reading room correspond to the opening hours of the library.
