World Digital Library (WDL) provides free access in multilingual format to a wide spectrum of Internet resources representing cultures of different countries.

The major tasks of World Digital Library:

• Promotion of international and intercultural understanding.
• Extension and development of cultural content on the Internet.
• Provision of resources for pedagogues, scientists and all interested persons.
• Enhancement of partner organizations to bridge the gap between digital technologies in a country and between countries.
