Ivan Nosovich
(07.10.1788 – 06.08.1877)

Belarusian linguist, lexicographer, folklorist, ethnographer who created the first historical dictionary of the Belarusian language.

He was born in the village of Gryazivets, Bykhovsky District, Mogilyov Province, Russian Empire (currently Chavusy District, Mogilyov Region, Republic of Belarus).
