Vladimir Pertsev
(27.07.1877 – 03.06.1960)
Belarusian historian and public figure. Doctor of Historical Sciences (1935), Professor (1921), Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1940), Honored Man of Science of the BSSR (1944), Academician-Secretary of the Social Sciences Department of the Academy of Sciences of the BSSR (1943–1960). Author of works on world history, history of social thought, history and historiography of Belarus.
He was born in Kursk (Russia).
