Budilovich, Anton

3 Антон Романович Будилович.jpg Anton Budilovich (1859–1914) was a colonel. Born in Grodno province, he graduated from the Lithuanian Orthodox Theological Seminary, and Warsaw Infantry Cadet School.

He reached the ranks of lieutenant (1881), lieutenant (1885), staff captain (1889), captain (1894), lieutenant colonel (1905), colonel (1910).

He fought in the First World War as the commander of the 298th Mstislavsky Infantry Regiment. He died from wounds and was posthumously promoted to the rank of major general (1914).

Honors:
Order of St. Vladimir of the 3rd degree with Swords (1915).
