Parchevsky, Pavel

24 Павел Антонович Парчевский.jpg Pavel Parchevsky (1854 – after 1917) was a Russian military leader, lieutenant-general of the General Staff of the Imperial Army. Parchevsky born was in Mogilev, graduated from Mogilyov gymnasium, the 1st Pavlovsk School (1875), and Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff (1883). He reached the ranks of captain (1893), lieutenant colonel (1888), colonel (1892), major general (1903), and lieutenant general (1913). He served as chief of staff (1894) and chief of the 5th Infantry Division (1913), with which he entered the First World War. He was appointed corps commander in the newly formed 35th Army Corps (1916). Later he was mustered out and enrolled in the reserve (1917).
