Tsvetsinsky, Maximilian

32 Максимилиан Адамович Цветинский.jpgMaximilian Tsvetsinsky (1868 -?) was a major general, the son of a participant of the Polish campaign 1863–1864, Major General Adam Tsvetinsky. Born in the estate of Mosar, Lepel district, Vitebsk province, he received education in the Corps of Pages (1889). He reached the ranks of lieutenant (1889), lieutenant (1893), staff captain (1900), captain (1901), colonel (1909), adjutant (1917), major general (1917). In 1905, he participated in the suppression of revolutionary uprisings in Moscow. He fought in the First World War as commander of the 7th Samogitia Grenadier Regiment (1915–1917) and commander of the brigade of the 169th Infantry Division (1917). He was reportedly shot by the Bolsheviks.
