2017 – Year of Science
On December 23, 2016, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree № 481 "On declaring 2017 the Year of Science".
By decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus № 125 of 14 February 2017, the republican agenda on the Year of Science is adopted.
We also offer a list of scientific, educational and cultural events prepared by the National Library of Belarus in the Year of Science. The museum educational programme “Jakub Kolas is for science!”, the exhibition of the science museum “Elemento”, the Museum Night with the “Elemento”, thematic book exhibitions, presentations, conferences, workshops, round tables and other event are on the list.
