Art-brute or outsider-art is a trend of the modern art. The trend started in Europe in the ХІХ – early ХХ centuries when some psychiatrists who collected art works performed by their patients for diagnostic purpose had to accept their artistic value.

To them, painting is a way to express themselves and feel self-esteem. About 70 paintings and objects will be displayed at the exposition.
The exhibition is sponsored by Belarusian-Irish project of handicapped people aid, International Women’s Club, and the Embassy of Vietnam to the Republic of Belarus.
