On 16 September, an exhibition of Sergey Balenok’s easel graphics “The iron roof blues” opens in the gallery “Labyrinth” (3rd floor).

Sergey Balenok is one of the most known Belarusian graphic artists and illustrator of many books we know from childhood, including Cat’s Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, the collection of sci-fi short stories Planet For Sale and poetry collections of Iosif Brodsky.

Art critics call Sergey Balenok “atypical” and even “scandalous” artist. His every work is an illustration to an absolutely peculiar life of our Hidden, that which a man often tries to avoid and ignore.

The master’s graphic works are kept in arts museums and private collections in Belarus, Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Ireland, Swiss, France, Czechia, Canada, the USA, Poland, Israel, Turkey, China and other countries.
